Hello, have had teh 5D III for a few days. Pretty big step up from my 6 year old Rebel XT!!!

I want to set up the C1/C2/C3 options on the dial to suit my different shooting types. For C1, I simply want the AF to automatically selecte the point/points based on what is nearest to the camera. For this, I'd like to be able to replicate exactly what the AF does in the "Green +" mode dial position. There the AF point(s) automatically selected light up red, once focused on the nearest subject.

Is there a way to do this outside of the Green + mode? So far I haven't figured it out my going through the manual--it says you can, but I can't get it to work the same.

Thanks!
Jason
