5d mark III srceen protector????

Looking to protect my new camera's screen I have seen the Giottos glass add on screen protector, has anyone used it and do you reccommend using one. I have never had anything on my 7d and screen was fine but I spent alot more money on this camera so want to make sure it last.

I used some generic screen protector that I cut to fit, it turned out really well. I also did the top LCD.

Go to www.acmaxx.net. They have 5dmkiii lcd screen protector made of hard poly-carbonate with UV low reflection coating. It's better than glass or plastic ones.
They dont sell direcly, but tell you where to buy depending on where you are living (including Ebay).
I have them on my T1i, 50D and 5D MKiii; all were bought from Ebay.
They are good ones to protect your investment.

Hard polycarbonate scratches easily. Canon uses a hardened glass similar to Gorilla Glass that is much harder to scratch. If it does, you can get a new cover from Canon and install it yourself.

Remember, you are not toughing the LCD screen itself, just the LCD protector built in to the camera and secured with doubleback tape.

I just put on ones I got off eBay. They work great and took off the ones I cut myself. These are specifically made for the 5DIII and fit both LCD's perfectly. Only $4.99 for a pack of 3 (3x2).

I'm using both; XOskin and Acmaxx on my 5D III.

I put Acmaexx on big screen and XOskin on small screen. The thickness of Acmaxx is great for big screen, but you can feel the bump on small screen.
