5D Mark III to be available in 24-105 IS Kit at launch [+ picture]

Canonpricewatch says the 5D Mark III will be available with the 24-105 IS Kit, not the 24-70 II, at launch.

They also posted an image that (I think) hasn't been seen yet, which is the Mark III with the 24-105.

I don't think there was ever any serious thought that Canon would put a 24-70 MK II in a kit with it. Canon is getting top price for the 24-70 and will not discount it.

The 24-105mm L is a exceptional kit lens for the 5D MK II, no one else includes a lens of this quality in a kit.

if the mkiii comes with that 24/105mm option for a good price around 4000 i will get it, hey i am making a big upgrade from a t2i to maybe this or just get the mkii combo kit on bh,

4000 would be an attractive price, but I'm guessing it'll be closer to 4300, close to the difference between the current 5dII body and kit.

i can only dream only way to find out is couple hours when the event happens :] but even at 4300 thats not a bad deal 3500 for the body and 24/105mm is priced around 1050 on bh thats not a bad kit
