They had to "cut" one corner of the label off to make sure whoever assembles the card door doesn't stick the label on there upside down.
- Top right: SD card arrow
- Bottom right: not enough space
- Bottom left: CF card image
- Top left: The one corner that is left
They could have designed it differently but this is just another little detail Canon didn't care about.
Hijacking this thread:
- Why can't I select an item in the Q menu by pushing on the joystick which works in the normal menu?
- Why can't I use the joystick to navigate the Custom Controls screen when accessed from the Q menu when I could use it a second ago to navigate the Q menu? The joystick works in the Custom Controls screen when accessed from the normal menu.
- Why can't I disable select Info screens in playback mode?
- I'm to lazy to list more of these (minor) annoyances.
Granted, these are little details but the 5D3 is one if Canon's top cameras. They could've cared more about these things.
