5D3 no longer listed on Canon Canada's web page

It seems the 5D3 is no longer listed on the current camera list on Canon Canada's web page.

I guess that means that it is discontinued and that a replacement is imminent.

Normally the web pages get updated with or shortly after the official announcement. Not before that.

This means, if a camera disappears from it's web presence, it's just a fault - like the mentioned 6D.
Or it is a faulty internal test from the web page programmers for forthcoming announcement.
(but then the new successor will be visible as well and not only the old one disappears)

Occam's razor - the OP didn't actually look carefully. Oh, and Canon Canada still lists the 7D, so I guess that means it's still produced? That, or a little thought on the matter would suggest the Canon Canada web page is a poor guide to what's actually current.

It does mean that they are fiddling around with the code for that page, if it appears at the bottom in its own section.

When a camera goes "off the page" due to no longer being a sold product, the page is still on the site but is no longer on the main product links. It can still be accessed through the search functions however.

Maybe they're saying that as the 5d3 is now so cheap through grey market sellers, that you'd be mad to buy it through official channels.

he 5D M III is on the 2nd page on the US site. I think that they just use a sort order that is different than what some of us expect.
