5DIII and LR4

Just finished a gig with the 5D3, and lo and behold - there is no LR4 support for the 5D3 RAW files.

Any suggestions?

You can batch process in DPP and export the files in tiff format, use the beta camera raw with photoshop, or use the beta dng to create dng files that open and edit in LR4. The Adobr Betas are found at Adobe Labs.

i've used the tiff conversions from Camera Raw, and DNG conversions just fine.

They are Beta, so using DPP to create tiff files might be the best option. Just batch process a entire folder at a time. Your original cr2 files will be uchanged.

Sounds like a good time to try out the new DLO option in DPP. Export as tiff, then you can convert the tiff to DNG (Adobe RAW format) .

I'd try it one one image first, it supposedly triples the file size, so a judgement needs to be made for each user as to its value for their images.

I'm definitely going to try it as soon as I get my Camera.

So far, all of my DNGs are about 20% smaller than their 5D3 RAW counterpart.

my initial impression is that ACR beta in bridge looks noisier than in DPP that came with the camera :-\

well i did, now PS CS5 works, LR4, still no luck.....
