5DMiii Shutter Button doesnt click ?

I got my new 5D Mark III today, from amazon but I am little bit puzzled.
On my old 600D the shutter clicks when pressed down completely.
He can feel when it is press halfway, it clicks if you press stronger.
But on the 5D I feel no pressure point, is it broken or works the 5D in this way different to the rebel cam.

I don't recall my old 450D's shutter button clicking but that's definitely how the 5D should be working. The 5D and 7D at least do not have clicking shutters buttons.

Totally normal. It is easier to control higher frame rates with this type of shutter button.

Beside that the shutter button on my old 350D lost its pressure point some day last year but beside that it works fine. The one on the BG still has it (because it takes less use than the main shutter button I think)

Go try several different bodies, Rebels, XXD, XD, etc at the nearest retail camera store and compare them all. That should help you decide what is what.

Yes, that's normal. My 50D clicked when you took the pic, the 5D3 does not. The 5 and 1 series are the same, that's how it makes you feel like a pro; you're only one camera away from the top, like the vice-president.
