Thanks ronm88! I use both lightroom and aperture in my workflow and was wondering why nobody reported anything on aperture. I guess everyone's a pc user here on this forum lol
From your experience, how long does it usually take to add a new camera?
I've seen that the latest update of Aperture was meant specifically for the Nikon D800, and the thing is not even available yet. Seeing this, I have the feeling this is more a Canon stuff than Apple.

I just received my camera today. I use Aperture and Lightroom and not being able to use the RAW's in either of the programs has taken the shine of my excitement a little. I did a software update and when I saw there was an update for 'digital camera raw' I got excited only to see the update was for the D800. I had a shoot today and took the photos using the MkII instead. So although I've taken a hundred or so shots with the MkIII, they've all been JPG's which I have nothing to compare to! Come on Apple/Canon get your s&*t together!
in my experience the Canon/Apple "team" is pretty slow. It took them 3 to 4 weeks after the release of the 60D to get aperture support. I think LR had it a week earlier
