6D Price

so the 6D is a fullframe 60D.....

now please explain why it costs twice as much.

a GPS tracker can be bought for 19 euro.
mainboards with WIFI can be bought for 40 euro.

so GPS and WIFI chips seem to cost next to nothing.

so why does this camera cost twice as much as it´s APS-C sibbling.
and NO i dont think the sensor costs 1000 euro more.....

magnesium alloy? i don´t think that can justify the price difference either.

I'm guessing because the ISO performance and the IQ are going to be twice as good as that from the 60D.

great so amplifing a signal now determines the price of a camera.

then i would even prefer the DXO Mark to determine the price:

when the 6D comes in around 80 points that should make it a few hundred bucks cheaper.

To us does that justify it? Haha, heck no. But to Canon, well.......
