Anyone here experience their 70-200 mkll tripod mount ring getting stuck on the lens. It happed to me and it took days to remove it. It no longer fits properly and will not turn without binding. The sliver alignment screws are not loose. It's an odd and frustrating problem.

There have been cases of the screw breaking off due to over tightening. I'd send it to Canon for repair or replacement. Do not use a tool to tighten it, if that happens to be the case.
There are some third party tripod rings that are stronger and may be a good choice, RRS and Kirk are the ones I've looked at.
