700D review @ dpreview

As some of us are believing the reviews of dpreview, it is disappointing to see, that the 700D is quite "midlevel" with just very few improvements to the 600/650.

If you compare it to the D5200 of Nikon, it looks "old".

We took some shots with the 700D and the D5200 in our local photo-club. And the D5200 are better. Visibly better. Some of us want these Cameras for their children to start shooting. But some of us are overthinking to buy the 700D, because of the lack of real improvements

So Canon, hurry up! Meet your competitors and try to be better!!!!

To me it seems the 700D wasn't so much to release a new camera but rather the new kit lens which looks on paper at least to be better than the old one.
