A good price for a 70D?

At work someone is selling the following for $900 (US)

"Canon 70D; Sigma 18-250 f3.5-6.3; Canon 24mm f2.8 STM;Shutter release cable; Shutter release remote (wireless); Low shutter count"

Would keep the 24 but don't need the Sigma so would probably trade it in for a credit at a local camera store.

Currently have a T2i and was thinking it might be a worth the investment for an upgrade but wanted to see what people thought here.

More of a hobbyist so take photos of landscape, my son, anything else when I have my camera. At times need a better quality at a higher ISO.

You might try poking around on Craigslist to see if others are selling for about the same.
There are five for sale in my area:

2 are body only for 750.00 and 800.00.
1 is body and a grip for 875.00.
1 is body with 18-55, 55-250 and 500ex flash for 850.00.
And the last is the camera and 18-135 kit lens for 750.00.

I think two of them come with the box and discs and there may be some extra batteries.
No word on shutter counts in the listings.

Do you feel comfortable paying for a outfit with no warranty? Can you return it if there is a issue? There are going to be a lot of really good deals on cameras in the next 3 months, ones like the expired deal below will be showing up. Maybe even better ones.
