AC-Foto - Advent calendar

Hi all,

the big german online shop AC-Foto does, as last year, a advent calendar "promotion".
Every day, some article(s) are drastically reduced in price. Last year it was almost exclusively canon gear. All the high end stuff could be had for considerable discounts (1D series, 5D, 6D, all the supertelephoto lenses, etc). Sometimes also other stuff like backpacks is reduced.

Today they started off with massive price reductions on the 300 2.8 II and the 500 4 II (reduced by 1349 and 1249€, respectively!)

and no, I'm not affiliated with them^^
But if you are looking for some specific canon gear that might be your chance (crossing my fingers for the 16-35 III)

Indeed, indeed...the 300 is such a fine lens

Edit: I just checked the prices: they are the cheapest at the moment, but not as much as the price of AC suggests (their initial price for those lenses is higher than that of most competitors)

1200 € are again really good. 100 € less than any other reliable dealer.

Today it's the new 16-35 III...for 2250€, thats right now the lowest regular price I could find.
And on top you can get 300€ cashback if you bought a new camera this year

That's by far the lowest price i've seen for this camera.
Now if I only had that much money lie around.....

That's 174 € off from the price of all reliable shops and 64 € cheaper than anything else in Germany.

I have to take a closer look at my bank account... *sigh*
