Are we finally going to get f/2.8 constant aperture zoom lenses for APS-C/RF-S?

So glad to see another 15-85 enthusiast ! That missing lens on an RF-S is what is holding me from moving to RF-S . If it was my only lens I would go R6 plus 24-105 but can’t completely dump my 4 other EF/ EF-S lenses
Interesting to see if an RF 15-85 can be made svelte enough to complement the small RF-s bodies. The EF-s 15-85 is a great lens, but it is a bit chunky in comparison to EF-M and RF-s lenses. Meanwhile, the EF-s 15-85 works fine on my R7 with the adapter.

Thank you for the info on R7 and 15-85 compatibility. For the moment I’m still using my 80D with it that replaced the 7D that didn’t age well (dead pixels), but sometimes I wonder whether the le s is not also aging. I really hope a 15-85 or at least 15-60 will come out. The 15 part is key here as makes a huge difference to me with an 18 found on ma y other lenses.
I misread it as "canon dream sandwiches"... was wondering why Canon is into sandwich-making now too??
