There seems to be a welcome flood of BG-E11 grips now. Got mine this today. AUD$345.
Just come back from a small job. Very nice to shoot with. The extra joystick is brill.

This really finishes off the camera for me. I'll be amazed if I don't cancel the 1DX pre-order.

Has anyone received one from B&H? I ordered mine on 3/26 and it is still showing as backordered.

I havent, cancelled mine today from b&h and had ordered one from 17th street hoto on amazon, reluctantly. Not only am I satisfied with the overnight delivery, but happy to know the wait is over! All showed up as expected and now as another poster mentioned, my pinky has a place to sit again!

They are taking advantage of demand! Over on POTN I have a topic in market watch posting any links I can find in stock. I think two or three changed from the time I posted it in stock to when they went out of stock, and price went up sometimes $50 or more.

I am thankful Allen's Camera did the opposite and actually sold it cheaper. I got it for $339 to my door.

I wonder when the big retailers will get them... I thought they would have arrived by now, since the smaller shops got them a few days ago. With the 5D3, Adorama and a few other shops had them pretty quickly after the smaller stores. But nothing yet I see!

I picked one up from my local shop today, they had at least 10 in stock.

What are your impressions so far?

It feels rock solid, very nice shape and it hugs the curves of the camera nicely. It has the same magnesium alloy skeleton that the 5D3 itself has. It's definitely beefier than the grip on my 5DII (Zeikos, but I'm pretty sure it's the same shape as the BG-E6). Feels more like a 1-series camera now. Grips are a must for me, and while it was a little expensive it was worth it for me. Although I'm still curious to see how the $90 Korean alternative is, I would have picked that one up had it been available first.

I have to agree. Well worth the wait.

I'll get a chance to try it this weekend during my workshop here in Florida.
