Green Oak Tortrix. Absolutely tiny - this taken at 1.8-2m @500mm on the R5, and is only 400 or 500 pixels long. The top image is a stack of 4.

View attachment 217587I saw this guy on my way up the mountain this morning, and he was still flitting about the same spot four hours later on my way down, and he posed for me in a beam of sunlight.
I'm not the fan of the artificial "diversity" but your first shot is showing real diversity: the wasp (?) on the left down corner - my favorite!

I am overjoyed that there are significantly more large butterflies this year. Last year, many pupae must have gone mouldy.

This one is really good: perfect "model" and very, very nice photo. Last year in Bulgaria all of them were more or less damaged. It was even worst with the second species existing there: Melanargia larissa (and I really wanted a photo of that one :()!
