I'm trying to get a 5D Mark III to trigger some Broncolor Minicom 80 Flash Units by using a Broncom RFS transmitter.
Triggering the flashes with the "Test" button on the transmitter works fine, but I haven't yet got the flashes to sync with the camera while I checked the camera settings a few times to make sure that flash firing is enabled and the sync cord is plugged in.

Thank you all in advance for your help.

I tried it both with and without Live View, but it made no difference. And it works well with a 5D Mark II and a Nikon D7000. I've written an email to Broncolor asking if there are any known issues with the Mark III, but I would have loved to use the Mark III tomorrow and I can't hope for Broncolor to answer me on a sunday :(

Hey guys,

I'm just coming across this thread but I'd love to be able to help you out. With the bron RFS system there are address's that need to be set on the transmitter and the head that you want to trigger. If you'd like me to walk you through the set up email me your phone number and I'll call you directly. [email protected] is my direct contact information you can also send inquiries to [email protected], we always have someone monitoring the incoming so we can get back to you in a pretty timely manner.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Since it is working on the 5D MK II, the head and the transmitter are obviously talking to each other. Do they talk a different protocal with a 5D MK III?

If its working on the one body then it should work on the second without an issue, as long as the contacts in the hotshoe are touching the contacts on the transmitter it will work.

Again you can call me if you want to walk through it.
