Canon 6D wifi/ transfer files to smart phone.

Why do the files transfer to 2.5 megapixel size ?
My iphone 4 has a 5 megapixel sensor might as well just use that for instagram and get a 5d mark iii for serious work then.

Its a limit within the app. The pixel dimensions are 1920x1280, which is just a little taller than 1920x1080 (or true HD).
