That's a new site to me. The obvious question is, do their scores make any more sense than, say, DxOMarks? I had a poke around the site, and the description of the subscores is a bit vague at best. Even DxO explain it better than they do, but the weighting here does seem more rounded.

Yay! Another one-number reduction of the many parameters of image quality, which obviously says all that needs saying about camera performance. Now we can all decide if the 7DII is a good camera or not. Woot!!!

It is clear from this that Canon still hasn't resolved the high read noise at ISO 100 - 800.

their current system architecture has too many compromises to accomplish that.
But canon users can be happy that they've at least they've finally knocked FPN way down and hopefully that will also become an improvement across their whole range of SLR bodies.

More black box testing. Why is it that everyone wants to develop secret formulas and specialized devices and methods for testing things? What's wrong with being totally open, detailed and standard about equipment testing? And what's with these single scalar scores? Bleh. DXO Mark II. Just what the world needed... :-\

Great... with this and DxO there is no longer any need to take actual photographs to compare equipment.
