Canon 7D Mark II firmware 1.1.0 Available

I thought there would be more improvements to extend the life of 7Dll like how the 7D vs one that made it last till the 7Dll was released. One local camera shop is advertising the 7Dll body and Wifi card for $450.00 CND more than the body alone. This won't be available until January 2017. I'm going back under my bridge and count my hoarded gold! ;D The 7Dll will live on till Canon stops making it. It is the best sports and BIF camera in the apsc lineup.

They probably got mixed up between the WFT ones and the W-E1..... you must have been at Henrys...... I asked at one of their stores about the W-E1 and was told $450 and that it mounted on the bottom of the camera like a battery-grip..... Yup.... good old Henrys.......greger said:

While browsing the website of the camera store where I have bought all my cameras in the last ten years, I found the Wi-Fi Adapter W-E1 available in mid September for $59.99. So why are other camera stores charging $450.00 more to include this with the body? Buyer Beware!

You go into the camera store, ask about a Canon WiFi adaptor for the 7D2, they look it up on their computer, and it tells them that you are looking for the WFT-E7A.... They do not know yet about the W-E1.... Never attribute to malice that which can be explained by stupidity
