My canon 7d appeared with an error 30 and now 90% of the pictures appear too dark. Is there any solution?

Have you tried resetting the camera to a 'factory reset'.

It worked when I had a continuous overexposure problems with the 7D so it might resolve your problem.

I checked ... you were right, it is indeed shutter failure. Better send the body for service / repair

2 weeks ago in updated my firmware from 1.0.0 to 2.0.0
Sunday, 16-sep-12 i was taking pictures at a judotournament.
During that day i got 2 errors messages (error 30)
That day i took about 250 pictures (not a very huge amount)
In my prevision firmware version (1.0.0) i never had this problem!!
And i'am NOT working with LiveView

I read that's this is a shutter problem, but i wondering of this could be a firmware problem?!
Anyone has this experience to?

Think this has nothing to do with your fw. How many clicks does your shutter have?

I haven't had any issues since updating to FW 2.0. Maybe it's a coincidence, have you had the problem again?

Stop using it and send it for repair. A bad shutter can come apart and cause more damage and double the repair bill.
