Canon 7DMKII changing focal points

Is it possible to move the focal points using the knob without having to press the focal point button? I find that very distracting.

Yes, C.Fn3 Custom Controls (where you can change the functions of various buttons). The joystick button, 2nd from the bottom on the right side....set to Direct AF point selection.

When i click on the WB button and dial it to color temperature (K). I can't figure out how to change the temperature. 70-642
If I go directly into the camera menu and select white balance, the top dial can be used to change the temperature.
