Canon 85mm f/1.8 vs Other L and non-L Canon Primes

With a crop sensor why not look at the Sigma 30 1.4 and the 100 2.8. That way you have a good spread of ranges 35, 85 and 135 (ish) with the 3 lenses. I shoot with a 5d and have the 35L, 85 1.8 and 135L, I find that the 3 lenses cover any needs I have.

Who has had to use AFMA on Canon 85mm f/1.8, Sigma 85 f/1.4, or 100mm f/2?

I have to use afma on all my lenses..even the L lenses.
It's just a matter of how much. The sigma is a -4 whereas L lenses usually is within +-2..but I've not had one lens other than the 40mm stm that had a 0

I'm new to AFMA (obviously). Will be nice when 6D comes.

I have a Canon 50mm f/1.4 on my T1i most of the time. My shots are sharp half of the time. I know this lens is not very sharp wide open, but at f/2.8. I must be moving or something. my subject is not always moving either. Any ideas?
