What kind of bird is that? Nice picture!

It is a Pied Heron. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pied_Heron
As you can see his (her?) 'hair' is not normally like that. I waited for the wind to pickup to take the shot.

Very impressed with the sharpness even if you used the 2x extender. Nice! Like the second one especially.
