Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS

Thanks for posting this link, that's an interesting video. Fuji claims a 5 stop IS performance for its XF 18-135 (see here), that's quite a bold statement... Judging from the video it seems indeed that the IS is much more effective on the XF lens, although the test is done with single shots and I think series of ten shots for each setting would give a more accurate picture of the difference in IS performance.

What I also find interesting is the comparison starting at 1:11, which shows a much less pleasing image rendition (low contrast, poor sharpness) from the EF-S lens at the fastest shutter speed. The 70D settings might be the factors to blame in this case ...

The old model Canon 18-135mm (without STM) is actually exceeded by the image quality and mechanical. I believe that the performance of the image stabilizer is really what appears in the video, but it's hard to believe that Fuji works so much better, even at speeds to 1 full second.
