LOL yeahhhh, certainly waiting to try this one out until there are some people using it out in the wild without issue.

In the past I have been one of the immediate firmware upgrade people. This was especially true with my R5. I'd upgrade as soon as the firmware was available somewhere (which usually wasn't in the US). I was lucky never to have had any significant issue, even when there were problems with the firmware.

These days I'm more in the wait a bit to see if there are issues camp. Especially with the R1!

Will wait until end of August / early September. The new firmware does have some useful features, but I shall practice patience.

Very good to hear.

I think the main issue was with CFExpress cards larger than 2TB, and even then in specific video shooting modes, so it shouldn't affect too many people. Still, I'll wait a bit to skip some of the update churn.
