Canon EOS R5 Mark II Firmware v1.1.0 Now Available (Update: Firmware has been pulled)

Well, the Multiple Exposure feature fails with Err. 70. Canon, are you kidding?
Seems to be working on mine. Can you detail your settings, lens etc? I would like to see if I can get mine to do it.
2 shots, single time. First two modes of mixing. Store/don't store sources. RF14-35/4L. I did a factory reset on the camera after the update. In fact it makes shots and mixes them but is stuck on BUSY screen endlessly or throws the Err. 70 screen. One time it hung up and didn't turn off, so I should pull the battery.

UPD: My RF14-35/4L was on FW 1.0.2 while the latest was 1.0.3, and there was a tiny hope the update would fix the issue. But alas. I tried to shoot with RF35/1.8 stm but same thing — it is stuck on BUSY, then throws Err. 70, clicks with a shutter and restarts. I didn't use that feature, though it's a bummer. Looks like Canon still has some room for improvement.

Interesting stuff and I wish I could replicate. I tried with your settings and three different lenses but alas, no ERR 70. I don’t have the same lenses as you though. Hope you contact Canon and they can offer a fix for you.

I don’t think I will suffer from absence or incorrect functionality of this feature. I do hope it’s a single flaw in my possible usage scenario. I messaged a local representative about it, don’t know how it works. They should inform a related dept. Let’s see.

A local Canon representative suggested visiting the nearest service center for a diagnostic. I also reported the issue to CPS, as I have a membership. I tried the function with the recently updated Canon EOS R6 Mark II, same cards and lenses — everything works properly.

Dear fellow R5 Mark ii users,
Has anyone managed to enable the exposure simulation with flash enabled after this firmware update as they suggested?
I can’t find any new settings or any possible new trick to do that.
Thanks.
