Canon R5II and the 24-105 strange vignette in 8K Raw

I finally figured it out there is a menu item called Len Aberration Correction or Peripheral illumination Correction needs to be set to OFF! This happens only in 8K at least with this lens it has.

I would say that maybe the lens profile is not loaded in the camera at all but that would produce normal vignetting which is not the case.

Maybe it is loaded but it is wrong somehow? Just a random thought because the issue happens only under certain conditions. Seems more like it but strange anyway.

Likely a bug. RF lenses have the profile stored internally and provide it to the camera.

yeah same, I had this with the 16mm2.8 and 28mm2.8. Googled and found the Peripheral illumination Correction setting within minutes and turned it OFF.
