Canon TS-E 45 flare?

I currently use my TS-E 90, TS-E 17, and TS-E 24 II lenses very often, and I'm leaning toward adding the TS-E 45 because recently I've run into a number of cases where that would have been the perfect focal length. I've long hesitated because it's the worst performing TS lens, but based on my research it does the job as long as one doesn't use it wide open - which I don't plan on.

My only wonder is - how does it handle flare? Since I do a lot of sunset + sunrise photography, this is extremely important. Has anyone taken photos with the TS-E 45 and the sun in a corner of the shot? Before purchasing I'd like to know whether it can do what I need. Thank you very much for your help.

Why not use the 24 with 2xTC? You'll get at least as good IQ and better functionality.

Actually the 24 and 2xTC give you better IQ http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/ISO-12233-Sample-Crops.aspx?Lens=486&Camera=453&Sample=0&FLI=4&API=0&LensComp=348&CameraComp=453&SampleComp=0&FLIComp=0&APIComp=0
