Carrying Handle To Attach To Tripod Collar / Foot?

Hi,

Rightly or wrongly when I'm out and about I tend to carry my camera + 300/2.8L via the tripod / collar foot (with it reversed so its at the top). This is fine for a while but as its basicaly a two figure grip offer a few hours can get a bit painful.

The other day I noticed that the Sigma 500mm f4.5 seems to have the solution to my pain by actually moulding a grip into an extended tripod plate:

My question is does anyone know if anyone makes a 3rd part add on like this that I can screw onto my existing collar?

You could put a Wimberley P-40 or P-50 plate on the foot...

Thanks for that, I did consider that as it would certainly give the added length to grip but its still not a great shape to hold for a long time
