Seems to be as good as duel pixel tech on 70D. Canon just needs to put MFA on t6s and bump up to 7FPS to make 70D redundant. T6s is also smaller to carry around for family use. To make it little comfortable, I got 70D when Canon dumping them as refurb for $800 with 18-135 is stm kit.

Yes. T6s can do continuous shooting in Live view as well. Not sure which one is superior at this point of time (duel pixel vs hybrid). Duel pixel tech suppose to replace hybrid system. But Canon is still pursuing both of them.
