Could the motor driven mirror on the 5D4 allow for an even quieter silent mode?

It seems like I'm not alone in being a little unhappy that the silent shooting mode on the 5D4 is not improved compared to the 5D3, and if anything the Mk4 is even slightly louder than the Mk3. I've read that the Mk4's mirror is now completely controlled by the motor on both the up and down stroke. Is there any possibility that the control over the mirror's motor speed might be able to be hacked within some type of third party firmware like Magic Lantern, possibly allowing the mirror to the slowed down even more to make the shooting even quieter if this is desired? Or, is this kind of direct control over the mirror something that is too deep within the firmware of the camera to be tweaked or changed?

The silent mode is a great feature to have, I just wish there was a way to adjust this so that if the user wants to trade off even more shooting speed for even quieter operation, they could do so if the situation calls for it. You know, when taking photos of some types of artistic performances, especially in a small space, even the silent shutter can still be obnoxious.

I'd agree about the silent mode.
It's louder than the 5D3 , 5DSR and 7DII.
It's a bit unsubtle for quiet moments in a Wedding or theatre work.
No idea if anything could be done about it.
Bubble wrap perhaps.
