Maybe more mirror-less in the high end but i'm only talk about slr.

With the G1X point and shoot costing $800, a new mirrorless body will be more like $1000, not $400.

That is including a fairly high spec lens and a metal body with alot of manual controls/OVF.

If Canon are putting out 2 mirrorless bodies I wouldnt be supprized to see the cheaper of the two be very no frills where as the G1X was following on from a series of chuck well bulk mirror models with smaller sensors.

I do expect a high spec mirrorless body to come out at $1000+ range. I'm just not focusing on that right now. The point of putting the mirrorless under the 650D is because I could see a cheaper mirrorless body replacing the xxxxD range of slrs.
