droplet C&C needed

I have something special in mind for this image...nitpick it to death please.

You asked…

I like the concept, and I like the droplet itself. But…

• The bright yellowish line on the leaf is very distracting
• The leaf should be sharp throughout, it's not
• Not a fan of the brown leaf, especailly with the purple background; a green leaf would be better
• The transition from leaf to droplet is poorly handled - color at leaf tip is odd, line across leaf looks unnatural
• A more homogenous background might be better, or at least not the vertical edges of a different hue, an oval might work better
