Canon Belgium promised me today that it should be available before the end of this month.

EF in UK they should be getting deliveries before/by 22ndarch for the first batch
(though the battery grip maybe later in April possibly)

Don't understand why introduction price in france (€3190) differs that much from holland (€3500), justifies a weekend trip to Paris 8)

Canon has built up a big inventory of cameras prior to the announcement, according to a Chuck Westfall Interview, and they will likely be sending them by sea all over the world at about the same time. There might be a week or two between deliveries in different countries, but they should all be pretty close. China seems to start selling first, I guess its a shorter boat trip for them to get to China.

I think that they are supposed to hold them and start on the same day, but that never happens.

I ordered one a month ago, and I'm still waiting for it... The FNAC in France changed availability status from "delivery starting 15th April" to "Out of stock"...
Annoying...

I tried to contact both the resseller and Canon, they remain quiet...

Any info about availability in Europe?

(I Know they recalled many products after the light leak..)
