<p>Canon has released a firmware update for the GP-E2 GPS receiver, below are the fixes included in the update.</p>
<p>Firmware Version 2.0.2 incorporates the following fixes:</p>
<ol>
<li>Corrects a phenomenon in which, in rare cases, the digital compass is not displayed and the location information is not updated when using the GP-E2 through the USB connection.</li>
<li>Corrects a phenomenon in which, in rare cases, the GPS log’s time information will show the date of the next day.</li>
</ol>
