Fisheye for crop sensor

I'm thinking of getting a fisheye for my 7d.

Basically I want to go as wide as possible but without having the heavy vignetting/black circle some fisheye lenses cast in the corners. (I already have a 10-20 for normal wide)

I'm only familiar with the samyang 8mm (which is 167 degrees on canon crop), but the manual-ness is putting me off. What are the best other options that get as close to 180 degrees on canon crop?

Well, on a fisheye (well, most UWA lenses) unless you have a stuff very close to the lens as well as far away, or vice versa, you get close to or hit the hyperfocal distance, so having manual focus might not be difficult as you think.

I almost bought Samyang 8 mm but then a Tokina 10-17 came up for cheap on my local Craigslist. I bought it. I have a love/hate relationship with the lens. It's very very sharp and contrasty, we'll-built, and focuses crazy close (almost macro). But the c/a and purple fringing drive me nuts at times.

Canon has a 8-15mm fisheye. At about 10mm, there is no physical vignetting on APS-C. For FF, you can get a pure circular image at 8mm and a non-physically vignetted image at 15mm.

The best is going to be the Canon, but also the most expensive. The 3rd party lenses are designed to go to 180 on Nikon's 1.5 crop, so they are not 180 on Canon's 1.62 crop.
