Flowers and other Flora

Did You use a macro rail or in body focus bracketing? The steps may have been too short.
I used a macro rail, images about 1mm apart. First time I've tried so many images. SInce I was shooting wide open, I thought I'd go for broke. I'll try stacking every other image and see what pops up. Thanks.

Stacking wide open with a macro rail is really challenging espacially without focus peaking.
I'm glad my R5 has internal focus bracketing:

A nice example! While the shape of that blossom reminds me of a jewel weed, the color and leaves do not. Can you tell me it's name?

I didn't post some photos of plants from my last trip to Haleakala, Maui...
Here they are:
Unknown fern
Non native Raspberry - note the thorns!
Native Raspberry - no thorns. BTW both species are pretty tasteless:(. No comparison with what I know from Europe...
Sandal wood - this particular one is endemic to Haleakala as a subspecies. Unfortunately very rare!
All these at ~ 2100 meters above the see level.

Next two (at 3050 m. above the see level and above the cloud belt): Haleakala Silver sword - for more info:

And the Marsian landscape were it grows. What you see is probably ~1/2 of the crater surface (taken with my cellphone, 500mm lens is very good for everything but here the distance was a limiting factor - even for the cellphone;):ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:).
Edited: sorry I had to downsize the landscape photo in order to smuggle it in CR. Looking really bad even from a cell phone but still informative
