LAOWA is extending their Probe Lens lineup with two zoom macro lenses and two new tubular designs.
It's getting more and more crazy!
But it seems there is a market for such extraordinary lenses with high prizes.
The complet set is at 21 999$!

I have the Astrhori knock-off and that's a lot of fun to use! As a hobbyist I don't need Cine quality lenses, so these are waaaaay out of my price range. These are also beter suited to video, for stills the diffraction effect is hard to get rid of in post!

Samples from the Astrhori, both below the water and above ground

Are these the first full macro lenses that zoom?
Afaik, yes.

The new lenses are zooms and for this reason more expensive and I expect the optical quality of the Laowa to be better. The 15-24 is also f/8 with less diffraction. These lenses are aimed to professonals. I sometimes wonder while watching commercial spots if a Laowa Probe was used e.g. a dollie shot through a chess board.
But of cause the Astrhori is a good choice for hobbyists.;)

I find the behind-the-scenes for those probe lenses fun to watch, here's one that combines two of my hobbies, Lego and camera systems:

I had something like this in mind but no making-of but real commercial:

Edit:
have to ad this video of an eating snail with funny ending.
Unique shots are possible with this kind of lenses.
