luckily the very amicable london camera exchange had one that had just been returned because the owner changed his mind, bam 250 cheaper than i would have got it new for, and he only had it a few days!

congrats. I'm considering one for my backup body to replace my 60D. I'm in no rush so I might wait it out but it's nice to hear that people are happy with it. When I'm doing video it would be nice to have a 2nd camera that has AF so I'm hoping the 6dmk2, whenever that may come out, will have video AF. The T4i/EOS M won't cut it for me (for some small gripes like the different battery and no Kelvin temp WB). Besides, I definitely want both my cameras to be FF.
