Have EF-S 10-18mm & EF-S 10-22mm

Hey, my 10-18 came yesterday and it's pretty cool. I shoot primarily video and have been using the 10-22 on a glidecam or tripod the past year. From spec comparisons I've read the 10-22 is a better lens, but it's close and realistically I'll use the 10-18 more with it's STM and IS.

For a little while I'll have both lenses (at least until I ebay the 10-22). I haven't seem direct comparisons online yet and thought it might be fun taking the same shots back to back on a tripod - or anything else you can suggest to compare the two?

Of course you mentioned IQ. I would be interested in IQ for stills although you mentioned that you are more into video.

AF performance would be interesting to me. Of course speed as well as repeat accuracy. And AF noise.
Test conditions could be LiveView as well as phase AF, low light, moving objects, etc.

It's worth considering that you can buy the 10-18 AND an SL1 or T4i for the same price as the 16-35, or less. As a full-frame user, I sometimes wonder about this...
