How long are the current lens instant rebates slated to last?

Hi all,

I'm trying to figure what lens I can get before the rebates currently running end.
Are these slated to run through the end of Dec 2012? Think they'll extend into 2013?

I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on the 70-200mm L USM IS II....at $2099, minus almost $500 I have in rewards dollars from Crutchfield (from what I bought the 5D3)...this is gonna be a sweet deal....but wondering when the instant rebate ends....

Cashbacks in Austria started from 1st November 2k12 until 20th January 2k13

too bad that theres no cashback for my newly bought 5D MK III :S

According to Canon, current rebates will end Dec 1st. They might extend it through Dec though.

I also have over 10,000 reward points(over $500 cash value) with them. I'm in no hurry since I'm waiting for 50mm L II. I might have enough points with Crutchfield by the time Canon releases their 50mm L II ;D

The rebates have been going continuously for several months, and continue to get larger. Don't worry, they will continue until the economy gets better. Look for some really good deals in December.

Yeah...I'm just kinda startin' to lean towards doing that.

I was debating just getting the 70-200 f/2 L II last day of this month...make it my Xmas present to myself....but with gift buying for others, etc.....I might just risk it and see if they extend it again....

I pulled the trigger early before they expired....

Got the canon 70-200 f/2.8 IS II USM L....for $1625.99 new....wow...great lens so far!

Today is the 2nd of Dec....haven't heard one way or another if the discounts have been extended...

The current rebates end on Feb 2nd.
