Humorous EF 28-135 eBay description

I was checking the eBay prices for a used EF 28-135 f3.5-5.6 USM for a friend, and happened to notice this rather funny description blurb (automatically added to all the ads for this lens). Not sure if the writer was totally clueless or if this is a worse than usual google translation—I’ve bolded some of the more humorous parts.

Product Information

Compact and lightweight, the Canon EF USM F/3.5 lens is designed for digital cameras to capture bright panoramic photos. The focal length of this Canon IS lens automatically adjusts between 28 mm and 135 mm to shoot magnified images of an object at a minimum focusing distance of 0.5 m. With an aperture range of f/3.5 - 5.6, the Canon EF USM F/3.5 allows you to capture bright outdoor photos. The 18 to 75-degree angle coverage of this 28 mm lens facilitates standard format pictures. The Image stabilization feature helps to capture sharp images using the 28 mm lens even when there are jerks. With a construction of 16 elements in 12 groups, this Canon IS lens provides superior quality images. The 72 mm filter protects the Canon EF USM F/3.5 from dust and graze.

Hard to believe that Canon would sell such an innovative kit lens (automatically adjusting focal lengths and making a fixed focal length serve as a zoom) for so cheap… :)
