Is 7D liveview focus better than 60D?

I am itching to upgrade from 350D, with focus my biggest concern. I would have pulled the trigger months ago if it weren't for the slow liveview focus on 60D.

So, does the 7D focus advantage extend to live view, and does anyone know for sure if Canon has made improvements in liveview focus on the 5DIII?

I own a 7D and find it focuses pretty nicely in LV - I've managed some good shots with it. I'm not sure if Live View has been updated for the 5DIII though.

The 7D focus advantage afaik and tried it does not extend to contrast af, but of course to "quick af" which means that for every focus action the mirror flips. But since that is loud, slow and blackouts the display you won't want to do that on moving objects but on something static (focus once, shoot often).

I've got a 60D, and compared it to the D7000 back then - and my conclusion was: If you want a rally working live view af, get a Nikon. I can live with quick af once in a while, so I am writing this in Canon rumors and not Nikon rumors...

I'm not interested in changing to Nikon, and I'm just about to head down the road to pick up a new 7D.
