Is G17 still coming?

It seems to me the G17 was rumored to be announced this past spring. Nothing at Photokina this month. Does this mean no G17? Is the GX7 a good alternative to the G16/17? I have a S90 but I find the controls a bit small for my sausage fingers - in particular the wheel on the back. I was thinking of getting a bit larger enthusiast camera like the G16. I was hoping the G17 would go back to the articulating screen and for a couple of other changes. No I wonder if the G17 is coming out at all. Does anyone know how the controls on the GX7 feel for a person with large hands/fingers.

Any thoughts/comments would be appreciated.

The G7 is likely the replacement. Same size but its going to have much better and low light performance with its big sensor.

I'd think that few would buy a G17 rather than the G7 X
