Is There a Pair of New f/1.2L Lenses on the Horizon?

What are the weaknesses of the existing f/1.2 lenses that would necessitate second versions?
In consumer driven economies "the new hotness" must inevitably spawn to keep the consumption going. In addition, whether the weaknesses are relevant or not, kaizen demands continuous improvement. See Demming.

There were cases with Canon lenses where there was vast improvement which warranted upgrades from the previous model

This has happened many times with EF lenses like many big whites the 24-70 2.8L II the 16-35 f/2.8 L III the EF 70-200 2.8L IS II

I am curious which improvements in the existing f/1.2 lenses will make people to upgrade them. On the other hand I believe that a totally new 1.2 lens would be much more tempting. This is my opinion. YMMV.

While I don't disagree with that, there are plenty of new lenses that should come out before they start upgrading existing lenses.

Well, I guess that depends on Canon's development timeline for each lens. What I think should be doesn't matter. Canon is going to do what is most profitable. Which lenses should Canon be more focused on? I don't see big gaps, but I might be blind to those gaps because whatever is missing is not a need of mine. I'd imagine it isn't the same team on every lens. It could also be that these upgrades are so minor it doesn't take away from the development of other lenses at all anymore.

It makes sense to me (assuming potrait lenses are most popular) that the most popular portrait lenses upgrade quicker, but don't listen to this dummy. ;)

*Full disclosure: I no longer own a single RF lens, unfortunately. Sold out to survive Covid.

I do not expect a Version II of the RF 50/85 1.2-Lenses because of this or that "weekness". There have been EF-Lenses with some weekness, which were not replaced or updated by Canon for Decades:
* EF 50/1.4 (soft wide open)
* EF 85/1.8 (excessive purple fringing wide open)
* EF 50/2.5 Macro (slow AF)
* EF 200/2.8L (no weakness for the price ...)
