I notice that several L lens prices have dropped at Jacobs in the last few days. Sadly for me, who bought a second hand 100 Macro IS L last week, they have that particular lens at £599.99

They also have the 70-200 F2.8 IS II at £1699.99

I don't know why this has happened, after a couple of years of nothing but increases it's good to see.

Dunno which store have that in, or where a 'second hand' 100mm IS L Macro would come from (there are very few on ebay. But the price at Jacobs is currently £689 http://www.jacobsdigital.co.uk/index.php?target=products&product_id=64502

That price was the in-store and online price at the time I posted it. I feel a bit better now.

I bought my used 100 Macro IS at Aperture on Museum Street www.apertureuk.com. It's a great little shop - I pop in there a few times a week.

I seem to recall that the Yen had a bit of a drop a week or two ago. Perhaps that's trickling down.
