Just got my 1dx back from Canon with a dirty sensor?

Hi folks, attached is an image i took for a test to see if the sensor had in fact been cleaned after my 1DX body was repaired and "sensor cleaned." Can you let me know if I am imagining things or is this a dirty sensor? Any other possible explanations? I have zoomed in and cropped each shot to emphasize the debris. Thanks for your feedback.

If your lenses look clean and the dirt pattern is roughly the same with different ones, then it's on the sensor. :-\

You can check directly by following the manual sensor cleaning procedure with a full battery and looking at the sensor with a lighted loupe or flashlight + magnifier. Dust is visible but usually pretty tiny. If it's not sticky, like drops of lube, you might be able to carefully blast it away with a rocket blower. Good luck.

A friend received a camera body back after canon service and it looked like it had been stored in a wood working shop for a week without the body cap on. It literally looked like sawdust shaking out! He had to send it back two more times before it was properly cleaned. It's rare, but sometimes canon service makes a mess of things. If it is indeed the sensor... send it back and cross your fingers.
