Hey family I need some help
A up and coming photographer
Just got a new canon 6D
With extra. With the kit lens, 40mm pancake lens, 50mm 1.8, sigma 70-200
I want a 85mm either the canon 1.8 or sigma 1.4 depends the wife lol
Im wondering what am I missing. I like to get the missing piece for my 40 bday. Any suggestion

The only thing that's missing is you actually getting out there and shooting.

You are missing a lens in the under 40mm range. I'd buy a wide angle lens before 85mm, which you already have.

I'd not recommend buying a wide aperture lens for a 60D, simply because you cannot fine tune the AF of the camera to give the sharpest focus at wide apertures. Stick to f/4 or smaller.

The 17-40mmL might be a good choice.
