Lens coat for Canon 500f4 mk2

Well it's arrived, sat here in front of me, feather light, sort of, best built lens ive ever had. Unfortunately being a clumsy sod, if I don't get it covered ill damage it. Anyone know if the old lens coat covers it? Best place to get a decent cover???

Are you sure? I believe Mick is asking if the Lenscoat for the 500/4 MkI fits on the MkII lens.

Thanks guys, ill order one straight away. Just out of interest, I'm also after a new tripod and head. Got to be light, suitable for the less weight 500 and a decent head. I've got a cool jobu design gimbal but need a new set up as the old ones worn out and on its last legs. Decent international supplier would help also. And yes you guys were right, the 500 is handholdable and I'm no Arnie Swatzerwhatever.

Love my Really Right Stuff TVC-33 legs, leveling base, and PG-02 LLR gimbal. Not an international dealer though. Gitzo 3-series and Wimberley II head should be available locally.
